The Asheboro Copperheads are currently seeking additional host families for the 2021 season.
Host families are required only to provide a clean, private place to sleep, a shower and laundry facilities. Players provide their own transportation and meals are not required, although families may include their players in family meals or other activities. Host families will receive complimentary season passes for all home games.
It is mandatory for all Copperhead players to obey all rules set forth by the team and especially their host family. Copperhead players can be good role models, teachers, and even coaches for younger children.
Players are scheduled to begin reporting to Asheboro around May 22. The team will hold its first workout on Sunday, May 23, and then open the season with a nonleague home game against Fuquay-Varina on Tuesday, May 25. The Copperheads open the Coastal Pain League season Thursday, May 27, at Forest City and then have their home opener scheduled for Friday, May 28, against Martinsville.
If you are interested in being a host family for a 2021 Copperhead player or players, please call General Manager Dennis Garcia at 336- 460-7018 or send an email to [email protected].
